The Shaker Cocktail Experience

Your experience starts with a reception drink, and a brief introduction to your instructors and fellow team members.

There are 3 sessions to the experience including;

1. The Drinks

Classic Cocktails or Smoothies

Shake up some of the most popular classic and contemporary concoctions from around the world including the Singapore Sling, Moscow Mule, British Bramble and many more. Alternatively, for those who prefer not to drink you can create some superb tasting fresh fruit smoothies and learn how to cut eye catching garnishes with a selection of exotic fruits.

Tiki Time

Tiki is back. The Tiki phenomenon can be traced back to Don the Beachcomber to as early as the1930s. Learn the skills of Don and Trader Vic with Tiki Time™ our exciting twist on the classic cocktail making session. We provide funky ceramic tiki mugs, kitsch Hawaiian shirts and tiki cocktails to boot; Mai Tai, Zombies, Pina Coladas in pineapples, Fruit Daiquiri’s and all the original recipes.

2. The Knowledge

Bar Magic

A vibrant workshop conducted by one of the worlds top celebrity bar magicians. You’ll be astonished by the cheeky brilliance of our world famous bar magic expert whilst being taught the secrets and great tricks to take away with you.

Spirit Tasting & Layering

Tasting and experimenting of more exotic and rare spirits. Learn the densities of different spirits, liqueurs and juices and then create your own layered cocktail and shooter. You must have a steady hand to break the Shaker layering record.

3. The Fun

Flair – The art of moving and shaking

Learn the art of moving and shaking with our flair instructors; team games involve the stall challenge, and tandem flair. Will your performance be The Coyote Ugly or just plain ugly.

The Competition

The best bartender from each group will fight it out to create the perfect cocktail using their new knowledge from new skills learnt. First, second & third prizes are given to teams including a Cocktail guide for the most knowledgeable, a Cocktail tin for the most inventive & bottle opener for the beer drinkers!

Team Building

Where is the experience held?

For fewer than 24 guests, we provide a complimentary venue at the Shaker BarSchool in London (Shoreditch EC2) or Birmingham (City Centre) or at your own venue.

The experience is completely mobile so we can set up at your offices, in a hotel, marquee, club, or private premises. Shaker also work alongside many venues throughout England so please feel free to contact us for further venue information. We work with a number of venues nationwide, for further details on room hire charges speak to our sales team for more details. Team Building Venues

Number of Participants

We do not have a minimum number of guests, there is a minimum booking fee of £975.00+VAT, from our experience we recommend a minimum of 12 people and can deliver team building events for up to 500 people.

Cost

The Shaker Cocktail Experience cost per delegate is £49.00, for groups of 60+ please contact our events team on 08707 202 877 for a quotation, rate reductions apply to larger groups. All prices are subject to VAT @ 17.5%.

Prizes

Why not add a Cocktail Guide (£10) per delegate to take home as a memento of the evening or a Professional Bartenders Kit for £60; we have a range of prizes to suit all budgets, ask our sales team for personalised recommendations.

Pre & Post Event Bar Service

Why not extend your event and be served by the professionals? We can provide a full bar service starting from £6.00 + VAT P/P.
