Shaker UK are recruiting an office administrator.

We are looking for a rising star to join our team working alongside our Training Co-ordinator and Marketing Manager in the day to day running of our BarSchool training academy.  The role will include a diverse range of duties that will give the candidate good experience in a number of areas, including processing customer bookings and managing social media activity.  This role is ideal for a recent graduate or somebody looking to move into the field of hospitality and marketing.

Location Birmingham City Centre

Salary Dependant on experience

 

Background

Shaker UK was established in 2001 and is one of the UK’s leading bartender training schools. Shaker is known internationally for training some of the world’s top bartenders. Shaker also runs a national mobile bar service for an array of corporate, private and celebrity events including; Porsche, Samsung, Virgin, 3 mobile, KPMG, Selfridges and many more.

Main Duties and responsibilities:

  • Administration of training bookings and shop orders, from booking to completion of training with a high focus on providing quality customer service.
  • Organising and updating the Customer database on a day to day basis
  • Preparation of training manuals
  • Managing and administrating BarSchool projects such as the Ambassador programme.
  • Updating websites, newsletters and social media sites, blogs, news, pictures, knowledge and recipes
  • Supporting the training co-ordinator and marketing manager and assisting with any other ad hoc duties as required

  • Strong written and verbal English skills
  • Good eye for layout and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work on own initiative and within a team environment
  • A well organised approach to work
  • Good interpersonal/telephone skills
  • Excellent MS Office Skills – Word, Excel, Outlook
  • A commitment to Equal Opportunities
